The wedding of Miltos and Thaleia took place in a beautiful chapel at Agios Ioannis, Malounta in Cyprus, with the finest minimal chic décor and beautiful details such as guest hats, paper fans and fresh lemonade.

Photographer Antonis Prodromou who was called to capture the day, described to us the couple’s joyful day “We walked the long road through the mountains, with rolling vineyards by our sides, to reach the tucked away and secluded church at Agios Ioannis Malountas. Just close friends and family were invited to this private ceremony, and I was honoured to be amongst them to shoot this.

This was a beautiful traditional wedding, but with a party atmosphere from start to finish. Thalia arrived in a racy sports car in a sophisticated bridal gown that took inspiration from the 1920s. Thalia beamed with genuine happiness, music played and Miltos was there at the pretty old church in the mountains to meet her.

Aes Ampelis weddings are something special, with the winery stretching out around you as far as your eye can see, and the day was beautifully arranged. Pastel pinks and sunshine yellows adorned the flower displays and the tables as this private and joyous wedding unfolded into dancing, costume, music, and fun. This chic wedding in Aes Ampelis was centred in family, friends, love, and lots of fun, and everyone who was lucky enough to attend felt blessed to be there.”
